This has to be one of the crappiest interviews with Jeff Bezos in the history of the web. I guess the fact that he refuses to answer the very first question should have been a sign. But there is one nugget in the interview that completely floored me.
For every 100 copies of a physical book we sell, where we have the Kindle edition, we will sell 48 copies of the Kindle edition.
Whoa! I remembered reading that it was at 35 percent about six months ago. That's almost 40 percent growth in the platform in half a year. At this pace Kindle edition sales should catch up to those of print editions in about a year.
